Referral Reward FAQs

If you use Aku, there are high possibilities your friends, family and colleagues might like and want to use our app too. Aku's referral program is designed to reward you when you tell your friends about us. 

On this page, we've tried to answer all your questions about referring people and getting paid.

Am I eligible for the referral rewards?

You are eligible to refer and earn referral rewards when you have upgraded to at least an Aku Prime account by adding your BVN and a valid ID card.

What information do I need to provide when making a referral?

You simply have to log in to your Aku app >> Wealth >> Referral Rewards, copy your referral code and share with friends, family and fans across social media.

How many friends can I refer?

There're no limits. You can refer an unlimited number of people to sign up with your referral code.

Do people whom I referred have to upgrade their accounts?

Yes. When you refer someone, they have to upgrade to at least an Aku Prime account by adding their BVN and valid ID card before you earn your referral reward.

How much do I earn for referrals?
You earn ₦50 when your friends sign up with your referral code and upgrade to at least an Aku Prime account.

When will I receive my Reward?

You earn a referral bonus when your friend creates an account on Aku with your referral code and upgrade to an Aku Prime account by adding their BVN and valid ID card. Your referral reward gets added to your account immediately.

Are there other referral incentives?

Occasionally, we'll offer incentives to invite your friends to join Aku. We'll notify you through email or in the Aku mobile app when a referral offer is available.
